Allure (TH : อาลัว) is a traditional Thai sweet made from plain wheat flour, coconut milk, sugar and the essence of jasmine flower. Allure is traditionally made in a twirled shape in bright colours. Today, it can be seen in various styles, especially floral.
Allure was first introduced by Portuguese-Japanese-Bengali Lady Maria Guyomar de Pinha who is known for bringing new dessert recipes into Thai cuisine during the Ayutthaya Kingdom (1350 to 1767).
There are different ways to make Allure last longer, including sun-drying, dehydrating and oven baking.
For the final process of making our Allure, we use slow baking for about 9-12 hours in our dehydrator machine. It creates the perfect traditional chewy texture, with a slightly crispy outside and soft gummy inside.
Allure are beautiful Thai treats that are created into bright colours. They live up to their name, which means attraction.
One of the main ingredients of Allure is coconut milk. Coconut milk has many health benefits, such as being lactose-free, which is great if you have an allergy, or you are vegan.
Our Allure would be perfect for many events such as weddings and spiritual ceremonies, baby showers, gender reveals, brunches, afternoon teas and so many more.
Suitable for vegan, vegetarian and dairy-free diets.
