Sampannee (สัมปันนี:TH) means beloved.

Traditionally, this is known as a dessert of nostalgia. From the written story in the ancient days, women usually made Sampannee for their beloved who left home for the war. Its slow melt in the mouth, and its subtle sweetness, would bring comfort and fond memories of the care and affection of their partners to those who tasted it.

We slowly roast tapioca starch and combine with coconut milk and sugar, it was the key process to perfect its melt-in-the-mouth texture. The small amount of jasmine essence and food colours are also added in this stage before we carefully put the mixture into the moulds.

Sampannee is a delightful confectionery, presenting a subtle sweetness that melts deliciously in the mouth. The name itself is derived from the Thai word for "beloved", and thus, makes it an ideal gift for special occasions, such as weddings, baby showers, gender reveals, birthday parties, and afternoon teas.
